Final tower crane leaves site

All of the tower cranes have now left site. Across the site works activities continue to concentrate on making all buildings watertight; cladding / glazing and roof membrane works predominate, with aspects of these works approaching completion. Internally, partitioning works are well underway to most residential areas with electrical and plumbing installation works also well in progress across the residential and commercial buildings.

With the mast climbers removed from the south elevation of Office Block 1, we can now begin to remove the safety gantry above the hoarding on Mortimer Street.


Fitzroy Place survives recent storms

Despite the recent bad weather the project has not suffered unduly, the exception being the removal of the two remaining tower cranes that are in position on the two office blocks on Mortimer St have been has been delayed. With January now behind us, works activities continue to concentrate on making all buildings watertight; cladding / glazing and roof membrane works predominate across the site.

All cranes have left the residential buildings

As we head into Christmas and the New Year, works activities concentrate on making all buildings watertight.

The third and fourth cranes positioned on Nassau Street and Cleveland Street have both been removed over the last three weeks.

The remaining two tower cranes that are in position on the two office blocks on Mortimer Street will now be removed in the New Year.

Internally, partitioning works continue to make good progress to most residential
areas with electrical and plumbing installation works also on-going across all buildings, residential and commercial.

Restoration works have started to the interior of the Chapel and continue to make good progress to the roof and the exterior.


First crane leaves Fitzroy Place
