Fitzroy Place topping out

With the superstructures to both office blocks completing along with all major concrete pours finishing Fitzroy Place will ‘Top Out’ this month. ‘Topping Out’ is a ceremony that takes place to mark a significant milestone of the construction programme, usually the highest concrete pour of the project.


Removal of the protective steelwork on Nassau Street is underway

The frame to Office Block 1 is now complete with concrete roof works on-going. Cladding to this block is underway to the South and East elevations, with glazing underway on the West elevation where the pre-cast panels are in place.

The steel frame to Office Block 2 is also finished with concrete complete up to Level 6 with cladding commenced to the North elevation.


Renovation works start on the chapel

The last remaining site cabin has been removed from Riding House Street.

Office Block 1: the steel frame is 75% complete.
Office Block 2: the steel frame 65% complete.
Block 5: Cladding panels are in place from the Lower ground floor to 8th floor, with windows in place on the lower ground floor with the Lift Core to the south of this elevation having progressed to Level 6.

The new welfare facility on the lower ground floor is now fully operational and the one remaining site cabin on Riding House Street will be removed this month.

The ground and lower floor slabs are now complete. The new welfare facility on the lower ground floor is also complete and the site cabins on Riding House Street have been removed. Temporary scaffolding is being erected over the Chapel.
